Amine Dhouibi is a Tunisian musicien and composer known for his innovative approach to modern jazz.
Born on October 17, 1990, in Sousse, Tunisia, Amine has carved a unique path in the music world, blending classical, African, and contemporary influences to create a distinctive sound that resonates with audiences worldwide.
Amine's debut album, The Resurrection, was nominated for Best Newcomer in Jazz at the 2021 Mzansi Jazz Awards, showcasing his talent and artistic vision. His sophomore release, Eternity (2023), further solidified his reputation, earning a nomination for Best Contemporary Jazz Album.
As a seasoned performer, Amine has played on prestigious stages, including the FIMU Belfort Festival, where he performed alongside his trio featuring Ranjit Prasad on double bass and Faolan Collins on drums.
Amine has also participated in numerous prestigious residencies, including Halquat by Goethe Institut Brussels, ALM Residency in Munich, Kalbe Fellowship in Germany, Villa Sonnenberg, Lenzburg Residency in Switzerland, and Art Omi in New York.
