Grammy®-winning producer, composer, arranger and BMI artist, Brent Fischer carries on the legacy of his legendary father, Dr. Clare Fischer, creating a rich harmonic and orchestral palette that has become the Fischer brand.

A multi-instrumentalist (bass, vibes, keys, drums), Brent moves easily between genres - Jazz, Pop, Symphonic and more. His credits appear on over 30 million albums for artists including UsherMichael JacksonElvis Costello & The Roots, Toni Braxton, Al Jarreau, Raphael Saadiq, George Duke, Natalie Cole, Vanessa Williams and D'Angelo (won Grammys® for Best R&B Album and Song for "Really Love" from his album  "Black Messiah"  -- where Brent Fischer is credited as arranger and producer). 

Brent Fischer has produced over nine Clare Fischer albums, including: Pacific Jazz with Clare Fischer Big Band, and Latin Jazz Big Band ‘¡Intenso!’ featuring: Sheila E. and Roberta Gambarini. Grammy®-winning '¡Ritmo!' (2012 Best Latin Jazz Album feat Poncho Sanchez and Alex Acuña), Grammy®-winning ‘Music for Strings, Percussion and the Rest’ (2013 Best Instrumental Composition) and Grammy®-nominated 2011 release ‘Continuum.' 

Brent Fischer's modern arrangement of the classic Pictures At an Exhibition by Modest Mussorgsky has delighted audiences worldwide and creates a new big band aesthetic for multi-genre music.

The new album, PICTURES features Brent Fischer Orchestra (BFO) with twenty  top-tier Los Angeles musicians to include: Larry Koonse on guitar, Jamey Tate on drums, Ken Wild on bass, and Quinn Johnson on keyboard. The stunning Fischer woodwind and brass colors are played by Carl Saunders, Ron Stout, Michael SteverAndy MartinScott WhitfieldFrancisco TorresRob HardtAlex Budman and Kristen Edkins

Starting professionally in the music industry at age 15, Mr. Fischer has performed with groups from more than 20 different countries. His degree is in Symphonic Percussion from California State University, Northridge. Working as a consultant in entertainment industry, he also offers master classes for composers, arrangers and improvisers.  Brent directs the Clare Fischer ensembles, including the Big Band, Latin Jazz Group, Jazz Corps (a unique 30-piece ensemble), Organ Quintet, and Clarinet Choir.

The Fischer sound continues to thrive and grow with new titles and new audiences.
