Charlie Chech

Sydney-based vocalist and musician Charlie Chech is a lover of jazz and crooning, honouring the likes of Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Bobby Darin, Tony Bennett, Nat King Cole, Andy Williams, Elvis, Ella Fitzgerald, combined with the modern-day crooners in Michael Bublé, Harry Connick Jnr, Diana Krall and much more.

Charlie has held several sold-out shows at a variety of prestigious venues, including Sydney Jazz Club Foundry 616 and iconic Darlinghurst venue Claire’s Kitchen.

Charlie staged his third major headline show and concert at Hornsby RSL Club in May 2023 – as one of the youngest performers the club has featured in their own headline show ever, an extraordinary feat! He was joined on stage by the Clive Lendich Quintet, featuring some of Australia's top musicians.

Charlie has entertained audiences at private events, gala evenings, corporate events, on TV (in 2023, he made the Top 50 in the TV show Australian Idol; Channel 7’s Sunrise program) and on radio (2GB’s Ben Fordham program); is also a hit on the wedding circuit; and holds annual Christmas in July shows, due to popular demand.

Charlie is part of the 2022 Graduating Class of the prestigious Talent Development Project (TDP) - Australia's most successful and elite training and development program in the music and entertainment industry. Mentored and led by award-winning actor, singer, producer and director Peter Cousens AM, TDP graduates have included Sam Fisher, Human Nature, John Foreman OAM, and many more.

In February 2020, Charlie had the pleasure of singing with International Grammy Award winner and music sensation Michael Bublé during his Australian tour in Sydney. Definitely a highlight of his musical career so far and one which Charlie will hold dear to his heart forever!
