Started with a bang at an early age playing drums in Big Bands and various Jazz projects- moved into session work and kept busy on both drum and piano gigs. Many years playing in with blues line-ups. (eg Dutch Mason). Also sideman in roots music situation (eg Ron Sexsmith). Spent a lot of time in the Niagara Jazz scene in the 80's (Kenny Wheeler,Randy and Warren Stirtzinger, John Sherwood) Latest projects are explorations into electric jazz using vintage gear recorded in real time.
