Eloisa Manera

Italian-Spanish violinist Eloisa Manera is active in a wide variety of musical settings and is constantly expanding her talents in a wide range of styles that are part of both traditional and experimental artistic contexts. The germination of her creative spirit is a direct result of her research in improvisation and composition.

She started playing at the age of 8 and has never stopped. After graduating in both Classical and Jazz from the Conservatories of Venice, Cremona and Milan, she studied in Germany, Spain and the United States. As soon as he graduated in 2002 she joined the Academia del Teatro alla Scala and in the following years he collaborated in numerous opera, symphony and ballet concerts.

He has participated in musical productions with Herbie Hancock, Karl Berger and Ingrid Sestro, Ralph Alessi, Chris Cutler, Keith and Julie Tippett, Mike and Kate Westbrook, Adam Rudolph, Cyro Baptista, Enrico Intra, Roberto Cecchetto, Andrea Dulbecco, Mario Marzi, Simone Zanchini, Marco Remondini, Michele Rabbia, Dudu Kouate, Yigit Ozatalay, John Ehlis, Sana Nagano, Fulvio Sigurtà, Federica Michisanti, Amalia Lopez Chueca, Enrico Gabrielli, Daniela Savoldi, Yasuno Katsuki, and many, many others.

He has performed in Italy, France, England, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Portugal, Germany, Spain, the United States, Morocco, Turkey, from Teatro alla Scala in Milan to 'The Stone' in New York.

He currently teaches Jazz Violin at the Conservatory of Milan.
