As well as this, Jack leads a busy life as a professional musician and tutor working for a variety of higher education institutions in the UK.
Jack has been teaching and playing the guitar for over 10 years and has a diverse background of national and international teaching, touring and performing. Jack has taught over 1000 music students in 4 different countries and has held teaching residencies at the following institutions:
Leeds Arts University, Leeds, UK University of Chester, Chester, UK Kathmandu Jazz Conservatory, Nepal Federal University of São João del-Rei Pro Music, Belo Horizonte, Brazil Music For Life, Cheshire, UK.
As a BA and MA graduate in popular music, Jack has been lucky enough to study with some of the world’s best guitar tutors, including; Mark Lettieri (Snarky Puppy), Tom Quayle, John Wheatcroft and Matt Warnock. Studying at degree level has allowed him to have a thorough understanding of the technical and musical approaches to the guitar, with this knowledge Jack has taught over 3000 music lessons to students of all abilities.
Jack also has a passion for composing and is due to release his debut album ‘Songs For You’ on the 22nd April 2022.
