Joseph Perkins
Joseph has performed upstairs at Ronnie Scott’s (residency), Vortex Jazz Club, The Jazz Café (supporting Terence Blanchard), BBC Radio, JazzFM and for members of the Royal Family. Session credits include The X Factor winner, James Arthur, Benet McLean, Robohands and playing the music of Django Reinhardt in Jessica Swale’s film, Summerland. He has also worked as a guest lecturer, teaching Jazz improvisation and recording sessions at City University of London.
Joseph is a widely experienced private music tutor and has previous experience in the state sector as a peripatetic and classroom teacher. He has also worked with the ABRSM as a teacher/presenter and ‘Brains & Hunch – Music For Moving Image‘. As an audio engineer, he has recorded for advertisements in Russia, and in the UK.

Alongside my frequent performances at prestigious venues all over the UK and Europe, I am a professional guitar, bass guitar, piano and music theory tutor. I have extensive experience of working in the state sector as a peripatetic and classroom teacher. I have been teaching privately for more than 5 years and have also delivered lecturers in Jazz and recording classes at City University of London.
