My Jazz Story

I have loved jazz since I first read Jeroen de Valk's biography of Chet Baker. And of course, since I first heard the Chet Baker in New York LP. This was my first encounter with the fifties scene, which has been my favorite in this wonderful world ever since. My most wonderful concert experience is recent: last year I saw Bill Stewart's trio live at the Budapest Jazz Club. What a band! Especially Walter Smith III!
