About Me

Friedrich holds a degree in musicology from the University of Vienna as well as a business degree from the German chamber of commerce and industry. With his German-American background, he works as a freelance journalist contributing to the Austrian jazz and blues magazine “Concerto” and Allaboutjazz.com, among other publications, writing and reporting in both English and German. A musician by vocation, Friedrich spends his days writing about music as much as making it himself.
