My Jazz Story

I love jazz because of its emotive intelligence. I was first exposed to jazz through a reasonably priced vinyl copy of Kind Of Blue. The first jazz record I bought was the aforementioned Miles Davis' 'Kind Of Blue.' Followed swiftly by albums by Ornette Coleman, Charles Mingus, John Coltrane, and Sun Ra. My advice to new listeners is keep digging until you find the jazz style/artist/record that gets your hairs a-standing. There's something for everyone. You just have to dig...
