About Me

I am a retired international financial executive who during my working career was posted to Mexico City, Rome, Paris and London. While living in these cosmopolitan locations I was able to see and listen to jazz music and a wide variety of musicians who played it.

As a result of this exposure, I built a music collection that was in many ways unique as I was able to acquire albums that were generally not available in North America.

Consequently when I retired I was interested in using my acquired knowledge to look for an opportunity to write about jazz. For the past ten years or so I have been reviewing jazz records for two on line sites; firstly for Music-Web International based in Coventry England and latterly for Audiophile Audition based in Portland Oregon.

This has been very satisfying work and has kept up my interest in the music
