About Me
My Jazz Story
I love jazz because...I grew up with. I was first exposed to jazz...as a child by my father in Paris 1960 I met [musician name]...Art Blakey, McCoy Tyner, Stan Getz, Don Cherry, Hilton Ruiz, Jerry Gonzalez, Ray Brown, John Handy, Michel Petruciani, and keith Jarret. The best show I ever attended was... Weather Report with Jaco Pastorius, France 1981 The first jazz record I bought was...John Coltrane "A love Supreme", My advice to new listeners...Listen, listen, listen read about Jazz, biographies, etc, and above all go to live performances of good musicians Or whatever else you have in mind. Make jazz part of who you are, and the way you relate to others and to the world!
My House Concert Story
Never hosted as Jazz concert, though I had friends who did host jazz concerts. However, I attended many concerts in my life, fortunatelly as a listener and as a jazz photographer of great jazz legends. Feel free to check my jazz galleries at (https://www.behance.net/gallery/1472847/JAZZ). And as our leyendary venezuelan jazz radio host Jack Braunstein used to say: "Peace and Jazz!" Thank You!
