Sloba Dragovic is a jazz-rock pianist and composer from Belgrade, Serbia.
Being a professional musician for more than 20 years, he has performed with major artists around the world and has also appeared on popular TV shows.
Sloba has also composed and produced music for other artists, film, television, and other media, characterized by an authentic and recognizable style that showcases his unique musical vision.
As the frontman of the jazz-fusion band "Gis Maj Es", he has released two albums and several singles, including "Spaced Out" (2011), "Unreachable" (2012), "Start Game" (2016), and "Discovery" (2019).
In 2019, Sloba released his first solo EP, “Spy Story”, which was featured in a live concert that incorporated a full-length comic book synchronized with the music, creating an immersive and unforgettable experience for the audience. The album, featuring the renowned djent/prog guitarist David Maxim Micic, received positive reviews from music lovers and has been covered by musicians worldwide.
Sloba is known for his technical prowess and ability to connect with audiences on an emotional level during his electrifying live performances.
His playing has been complimented by respected musicians in the industry, including legendary guitarist Al Di Meola, who mentioned his performance to Steve Vai on their YouTube podcast.
Currently working on his second solo album, the highly anticipated first single and video "Uncertain Times" is scheduled to release in May 2023. This cinematic prog/fusion composition reflects on the global events of the past few years and the artist's emotional response to them, creating a powerful and thought-provoking listening experience.
