All About Jazz has developed a Spotify playlist presenting an exciting mix of songs spanning the many styles of jazz... from emerging artists to established stars to icons.. Handpicked, expertly curated for flow and listening enjoyment, the playlist also represents an opportunity for musicians to pitch their recent releases.
Similar to our other promotional services (e.g. Video of the Day, Song of the Day, Premium Musician Page), placement on the All About Jazz Spotify playlist greatly raises the awareness of your music to our community through our website, our weekly newsletter, our social media pages, and of course, our playlist.
How it Works
- Each song is carefully reviewed by our editorial team led by musician and recording engineer, Brian Eaton. Though pitching doesn’t guarantee playlist placement, rest assured, we will listen to your song and notify you when we have made a decision.
- If approved, we will place your song on our playlist until it cycles off—at that point, you are free to submit another song and repeat the process for as many song submission purchases made.
- All About Jazz charges a $3 listening fee per song. Listening to songs and determining where they appear on our playlist takes time and the nominal fee allows us to cover our costs. Regardless of the outcome, All About Jazz will still publish a page for your song.
- You can purchase song submissions here. From there, you'll gain access to the AAJ's Spotify Playlist song submission form.
