Roman Gastelum is an acoustic & electric bassist, vocalist, lyricist and composer based in Los Angeles, CA. He went on to receive his Bachelor of Arts in Music Performance from Musicians Institute in Los Angeles. His influences range from Jazz, Hip-Hop, Funk, Soul, Country, Classical, Electronic, Alternative, Indie, Rock and Pop music. Roman is active on the Los Angeles music scene today whether he is recording, performing live on stage, an enthusiastic private lesson instructor, a thoughtful lyricist, or composing artistically and commercially. Roman is the bassist, vocalist and lyricist of his eclectic progressive rock project - Jigsaw Falling.

José Canha

Born: October 26, 1974

José Canha was born in Setúbal, Portugal and began his musical journey as a lead vocalist for various alternative-rock bands during his late teens. He explored a range of musical instruments during this period, developing a strong affinity for those in the lowest register. Working with a diverse range of talented musicians, he gained an eclectic musical background, which ignited a growing passion for blues and jazz music.

After completing his army service, Canha abandoned his earlier academic intentions to dedicate himself to an in-depth study of his newfound passions: the bass and Black American music

Chris Trinidad

Born: October 30, 1979

Filipino-Canadian and San Francisco Bay Area-based musician, teacher, and scholar Chris Trinidad has fallen into the place where everything is music. Originally from Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, his relationship with music grew through exploring various instruments beginning with the voice, then the piano, followed by the bass guitar, and finally the drum set with little detours in the world of percussion and forays with the guitar.

Chris's formal education includes undergraduate training in Jazz Studies and Secondary Education, graduate study in the fields of Philosophy and Sociology of Music Education and Theological and Liturgical Studies, and doctoral work in Educational and Interdisciplinary Leadership. All of these seemingly disparate disciplines and interests help to inform the music that he makes.

Sonu Sangameswaran has been playing electric bass for over a decade now focused on the global sounds of Latin, hip-hop, electronica and African music interwoven with an original sense of groove. Born in India, raised in the Middle East and currently residing in Australia, Sonu is a completely self taught musician. He also has considerable experience in the fields of instructional design, philosophy of mind and earned himself a Master of Arts in Philosophy of Language. Manuel Muzzu

Born in Sardinia (italy ) 06/25/1967 I fell in love with a bass guitar when I was a 12 years old boy. Graduate on M.I. Los Angeles in 1994 and U. M. Rome on 1997. I have an handicap on my right hand, due to a mistake by the doctors when I was six years hold, that prevent me to use all fingers. In effort to overcome my disability I worked hard on my own technique for play like a normal people, just because the passion is stronger than destiny. Musician and composer, session player for many artist in a live show, and studio session player for noumerous label and artist. My songs are insipired by all the different sounds I manage to extract from my 6 strings basses including what may sound like a conventional guitar when i use it as an harmonic instruments as oppose to a slap or a straight forward fretless melodic one. I recorded three album at my own names.

Currently, he is performing, composing, arranging and the musical director of 'Arthur Sadowsky & The Troubadours' regularly gigging in Manhattan. 'The Troubadours' perform a modern vision of classic jazz that is stimulating to the jazz enthusiast while at the same time very melodically pleasing to the casual music lover. Born and raised in the icy tundras of the USSR Arthur was surrounded by music and art from a very young age and knew this was going to be a life-long passion. Oytun Ersan

Oytun Ersan is a Turkish Cypriot bassist, composer, recording artist and a member of the Recording Academy. He is best known for his soulful grooves, technique and melodic Jazz Fusion compositions. Joseph Patrick Moore was born in Knoxville, TN., on October 1, 1969. He was first introduced to music by his parents and sisters, who encouraged him to study music through the public school's band program. At the age of seven Moore began his musical studies on alto saxophone. His band director, Chet Hedgecoth, was an early mentor giving young Joseph words of wisdom, practice tips, and encouragement throughout his school years. Upon entering high school, Joseph began playing drums in the marching band while continuing his saxophone studies. In his sophomore year, he picked up an electric bass and was immediately transfixed by the rumble and thunder of the instrument. Soon thereafter the saxophone and drums took the back seat against his passion for the bass. The need and thirst for instruction led the emerging bassist to Rusty Holloway, an alumnus of Woody Herman and instructor at The University of Tennessee in Knoxville. Holloway influenced Joseph to further his musical studies at the college level. Securing a full academic scholarship, Moore entered UTK with a concentration on electric and double bass, majoring in classical studies and jazz performance. Under the tutelage of Rusty Holloway; Donald Brown; Jerry Coker, and the rest of the talented UTK music staff, Joseph remained there until 1991.
