The Russell Fortunato Project

Hailing from Boston, Massachusetts, these guys have been getting together to perform and record for over 30 years. Vaults of material exists. Each musician has had their own success both on local and international stages. Getting together for these recordings have provided each an amazing opportunity to explore, express, and create. The music is explosive, crossing many boundaries in Jazz and maintains an unwavering dedication to creative integrity. There is a heavy influence of Classical, World, and Rock music apparent in the compositions, written predominantly by bassist Russell Fortunato. Sax Man John Aruda has toured extensively with an impressive list of stars. Chris Bilodeau continues as a high-profile music director in and around the Boston area.  Drummer Luther Gray was added for the latest Album Release.  Newly recorded music as well as material from "The Vault" will continue to be released for years to come.
