Thomas Lüscher
Pianist and Composer based in Aarau, Switzerland. Educated in classical and improvised music, he is and has been performing with Tiger Okoshi, Lionel Loueke, Frank Möbus, Oscar Stagnaro, George Robert, Ronny Graupe, Christoph Grab and many more. Appearances on stages in New York, London, Prag, Berlin, Boston, Zürich and Bottenwil with his own bands or as a higly sensitive colleague supporting the musical intentions of fellow musician made him an adorable musician. He started at an early age with harmonica, accordion and piano. By the age of 15 he began his classical studies at Musikhochschule Basel (Switzerland) while already playing in bands and performing his own music. World renowned Berklee College of Music granted him a generous scholarship which allowed his studies to proceed with cats like Joe Lovano, Laszlo Gardony and Hal Crook. During his stay in the US he studied privately with Fred Hersch in New York City, who had a major impact on Thomas’ further musical conductings.
